Smooth, hybrid AC buses soon on roads of Mumbai

Good news for people working in Bandra-Kurla Complex. Your mode of communication is going to be more smoother.
Manoj Sonik the transport secretary of Mumbai Metropolitan region Transport authority (MMRTA)  gave its nod to introduction of 25 hybrid electric buses on Wednesday.
Facilities-

These are 32 seater, duel fuel, low-floor, fully air conditioned buses equipped with mobile charging points, digital displays, passenger announcement system, bucket seats, Wi-Fi and automatic fare collection systems.

Ticket Prices- 

The price of ticket will Range from Rupees 15 to rupees 25.

Advantages-

Along with reducing vehicular congestion it will also ease the commute for lakhs of officers working at Mumbai's one of the largest business districts. 

Bus was manufactured by Tata Motors and each bus costs Rs1.61 crore. Through the plan to introduce the eco-friendly buses in BKC was convinced in 2013, it was delayed owning to issues with the overall structure of the plan, maintenance and operations.
